Advising & Counseling

Victoria College's Advising & Counseling Services Office offers a range of services to VC students, including academic advising, career planning, transfer assistance and referral services. VC's academic advisors can help you choose an area of study, determine which courses you need to take, and start planning to transfer to a university.

The Student Services Building will reopen to students and the general public on Monday, June 29. Due to the developing COVID-19 situation, everyone entering VC buildings will be expected to wear a facial covering and participate in a basic health screening, which includes a temperature check.

Student are required to make an appointment with an advisor. Students are encouraged to take advantage of VC’s remote services and virtual appointments. 

Virtual Meetings

Advising & Counseling Services will offer virtual meetings via WebEx and students will have to schedule an appointment to meet with an advisor or counselor.  To schedule a virtual meeting, log in to the Pirate Portal, select “Navigate Student,” and click on “Appointments.”

Is assistance available to students facing hardships due to COVID-19?
Yes! Regardless of the hardships you may be facing due to the impact of COVID-19, do not hesitate to reach out for assistance. Please complete the Request for Supports & Referrals to explain any financial challenges or unmet needs such as food, transportation, or childcare issues. We also encourage you to talk to an advisor, counselor, academic coach, or your instructor about challenges you may be facing.
